Please Don't Go...

I am saddened to say that Collette and Kyle have left Kansas. They didn't even take us with them! They left us out here to rot and die! (That's what it feels like somedays) My heart got an empty hole in it the day they left! They have been our married friends out here who we've been able to hang out with and have so much fun with! Collette is the sweetest and has such a motherly care about her, maybe that's why she reminds me so much of Camille. Which is the ultimate compliment! Kyle is so friendly and gets along with everyone! Jason has loved playing basketball with him! I don't know how I am going to survive the next couple months without them! Now that they are gone, we are going to be hanging out with all the guys here. Which isn't a bad thing, unless they play Halo 24/7, which is exactly what is happening right now. I have already told Jason we will NEVER be getting a Xbox because that is all he will want to do with his life! So he better be enjoying it now while he can. Anyways... to morn our grief of Collette and Kyle's leaving, we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse where Kyle got to sit on the saddle because it was his birthday in a couple of days. Then we went bowling where I had to wear kids bowling shoes because the adult shoes were too big. And after bowling we went into the city and found some very entertaining statues and buildings! Farewell Collette and Kyle! You will be greatly missed! It has been fun getting to know you both! Please stay in touch!

6 Months Down, Eternity To Go!

Jason and I have been married for 6 months now! In some ways it feels like we just got married yesterday, and in other ways it feels like we've been married forever! (Just because I feel like I know him like the back of my hand.) If it already feels like that now, I wonder how it will feel once we've been married for 20 years. I'm the luckiest girl ever to have him in my life! He is my best friend and I fall more in love with him everyday! He is so giving and serves everyone around him! To celebrate our 6 month anniversary we first went to the mall and got me a new shirt and a pair of new flats. Very cute and on sale! I had already bought Jason a pair of Kansas Jayhawk basketball shorts and a new swimsuit that he didn't like, so we returned it. But it's the thought that counts.....right? After the mall we went and ate din din at the Cheesecake Factory. Delish! And then went and saw the movie karate kid. It was off the hook! Loved it! Besides all the cheesy clapping during the movie, and the people sitting behind us who had something to say after every scene. Very annoying. Jason and I have already been through so much together as a couple, I can't wait to go through all of life's challenges with him! Kids, school, jobs, etc... Speaking of kids, I'm already getting baby hungry, so we might end up getting a dog pretty soon to hold me over!

A Night Out On The Town

We don't get out much here in Kansas, so last Saturday night we decided to spice things up! We went down to the big city. We had a full car, but luckily Jason was driving and I had shot gun so we had plenty of leg room. :) There wasn't much to do for a married, mormon group! But it was still fun to get out and go down to where all the action is!

Royals Fans...

Jason and I have become loyal Royals fans! (Okay, we've only been to two games so far...) But we really enjoy going to their games, so I'm sure there will be many more to come!
