Christmas Time!

This year Jason and I were lucky enough to be able to spend Christmas with both our families! Jason's family came here to Utah because Casey (Jason's brother who lives here) had a hard time getting work off durning the holidays because he got a new job. So Jason's parents Larry and Lisa, Jason's sister Lauren, and his brother Tyler were nice enough to make the trip from Sacramento and come up here! They got here Christmas Eve and we did some errands, went to the mall, and ate at Iggy's (Jason's favorite place!)

Hanging out at our place

Jason and I started our own little family tradition of opening matching pjs on Christmas Eve

Christmas morning opening our presents!

Jason and I weren't suppose to get each other anything else for Christmas because we just recently have gotten plenty of things, including gifts from our anniversary, but I surprised him with filling his stocking with lots of goodies! I got him a xbox game, gift card to Iggy's, cell phone cover, under armour socks, Usher cologne, candy, gum, and other goodies!

Christmas at the Bennett's

On Sunday we had my Dad and Debbie's Christmas because Christmas Day is just too busy to drive up to Salt Lake. This year Jason's family is coming here to Utah so it is going to be so nice to be able to be with both of our families! It was so fun at my Dad and Debbie's house. The dinner was delicious, we got lots of good gifts, and it was so fun being with family!

Love him

Married ONE YEAR... already?!

Holy Smokes!! Sunday was mine and Jason's ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! I can't believe how fast that flew by! It seems just like yesterday we were headed to the temple to get hitched! But at the same time, I don't remember what life was like before him. I'm not going to lie, marriage is tough! It is hard combining two different lives into one. It is hard giving in even when you know you are right. It is hard sharing your space, time, and money with someone else. It is hard to love your spouses flaws. It is hard to keep your cool when you get heated. It is hard to do unimportant things that are important to your spouse. There are so many things that make a marriage difficult, yet it is the most rewarding thing I have ever had!
Jason is spontaneous, smart, funny, sexy, energetic, loving, outgoing, patient with me, sensitive to my needs/wants, holds the priesthood in our home, gives into me more than he should, puts me above all else, puts me on a pedestal, affectionate towards me, thoughtful of me, does anything I ask of him.... the list goes on and on! Geez... how did I get SO damn lucky?! I hope that I don't take him for granite because he truly is one of a kind! He might be too crazy or loud for other people, but he is a perfect match for ME!
So to celebrate our anniversary, we took a weekend getaway up to Park City. We stayed at Silverado Lodge, which was gorgeous! It was so fun to do a lot of shopping, eating out, seeing movies, and spending time together! I didn't want to come home to the real world....

We eat at this restaurant every time we are in PC, it's delicious!

On Main Street

Waiting for our movie to start (we saw Harry Potter and The Tourist)

Jason got me this GORGEOUS Betsy Johnson necklace!

I got this shirt at the Outlets

These boots are way cuter in person! I got them at a boutique on Main St.

Jason got ANOTHER pair of basketball shoes (because he doesn't already have enough) at the Nike Outlet

This is so cute on! It is from BCBG and was a lot on SALE or else it wouldn't have been in my price range.

Fine, I admit, this watch was $10 from Wal-mart. One day I will have the real thing!

Jason keeps reminding me that I am done shopping for awhile! Especially since I already did a little Christmas shopping for my self. :) AnyWhoo.... I have so much gratitude for being able to spend this past year with my best friend and look forward to so many more memories together! I love you Jason Michael Ivancich.
