WHAT did you do this time........

Yesterday I was at work minding my own business when I received multiple missed calls and text messages. I called my brother in law back when I got off work and he told me Jason got hit in the head during his basketball game. OH GREAT! His head was gushing blood and the paramedics were there. I rushed over to UVU where the basketball game was and met up with Jason. By the time I got there he was up walking around and feeling better. I took him to Intermountain Healthcare so the cut on his eye could get checked out. We went into the insta-care hoping he wouldn't need stitches because we don't have ANY INSURANCE, so it could get pricey! After cleaning the cut up, it was clear that he needed lots of stitches. Once the doctor got there and was looking at the cut it got pretty scary! Yes he needed stitches, but when he got hit it "exploded" inside, as the doctor put it, so there were lots of layers it went through! You could see Jason's eye muscle. The doctor had to ask Jason if we could move his eye and his eye lid because if the cut went to the orbit of his eye, it would be permanently damaged! Luckily it didn't get that far, but the doctor had to stitch up a layer inside his eye with 3 stitches and then 7 more stitches on the outside layer of skin.
MAN OH MAN! This intermountain healthcare place is becoming all too familiar to us! We first went to the same place while we were dating and Jason was playing basketball once again and the rim fell on his head and he had to get staples in his head. Then after we got married I had to go there to treat my bladder infection.
Let's just PRAY we don't go back anytime soon! (Besides getting his stitches out)

This picture doesn't give it any justice, it is covered in too much blood to see it

He has a black eye and is going to have a nice inch long scare on his eye brow for the rest of his life

Warning- This post is super cheesy! So if you read this you might throw up or just might not want to read this at all.
So... I've just been thinking lately about how dang lucky I am. And it's all due to this CUTE GUY!!

I've never allowed myself get SO close to anyone in my LIFe! He is the only person I let myself be 100% of myself 100% of the time. If I am in a bad mood, I tell him without sugar coating anything. He has seen the good, the bad, and THE UGLY of me! Yet, he still continues to love me unconditionally. It makes me so happy to be able to feel this comfortable around someone, yet scary cause I am SO VULNERABLE! If he ever wanted to hurt me, he would have so many words of amo he could use against me. (Of course he would never do that.)

ANYWAYS, sorry if you puked all over your computer after reading this..... I am just so grateful for my amazing husband!

New J.O.B.

About 2 months ago Jason and I decided that I would take a break from school so that I could work a lot more and EVENTUALLY save up some money for our future children. Most important word in that sentence is {eventually} so don't get too excited. :) So I had been looking everywhere and sending my resume into multiple places with no luck. THEN, my friend Alex called me and told me that Amara Day Spa, where she works as a hair stylist, was looking for someone to work in their boutique. I was of course interested, had an interview and GOT THE JOB! This company is so adorable! They provide everything, hair, waxing, tanning, botox, facials, massages, etc, etc. I will be working in the boutique and at the front desk when they need me. So far my hours will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and 2 Saturdays a month. So, I will be keeping my job at Mimi's for now. I start training at Amara on Monday so wish me luck!

P.s. I almost forgot the best part! I will get a discount at the Spa! Hopefully I don't spend all my paychecks there :)
